Environment of Clorofilla

Clorofilla is a private nursery and preschool in Milan and that was created in a historical building of the late ‘800 in the center of Milan. It is characterized by a series of columns and arches and a central out-door patio which illuminates natural light.
The building was recently completely renovated, emphasizing the original architecture and preserving it’s historical elements of beauty. The renovation was made, keeping at heart the vision of Reggio Children, who helped supervise the choices in defining it’s environments. The educational project is based on the definition of spaces which support: Clorofilla’s approach, the autonomy offered to children, teachers being in a position to observe and document play, research, and children’s discoveries.
